Magnificent Baikal

Arrival to Irkutsk. Meeting with a guide and transfer for lunch at city restaurant. Start Irkutsk city tour. Main sights:
The square of three churches: Epiphany cathedral, the Church of the Savoir, Polish Cathedral
The monument to Alexander III

Decembrist’s Museum
Check in hotel, dinner at hotel restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Check out and meeting guide at the hotel’s lobby.
Start of excursion to Listvyanka. On the way visit the ethnographical museum of wooden architecture “Taltsy” (about 40 km from Irkutsk) where you will see a lot of ancient wooden houses, real Buryat and Evenk traditional houses.
Upon arrival in Listvyanka, you will visit Baikal museum visit where you will get to know about Lake, Baikal flora and fauna, meet Baikal seals in aquarium and make an interactive diving tour to the Baikal bottom.
After lunch going uphill by the ropeway to the observation view point Chersky Stone, where you can enjoy panoramic view on the Lake.
Afternoon visit ancient wooden Saint Nicolas Church and fish and souvenir market.
Walking along the Baikal shore Check-in at hotel, dinner, rest.

Short cruise (4 hrs) along Circum Baikal Railroad.
Famous Circum Baikal railroad is considered to be a cultural and historic heritage site. It includes 38 tunnels with the total length of 9063 m. The railroad and all its tunnels and passages are unique. It was built in a very short period upon unconventional projects in early 20th century.
Please, pay attention this tour is quite different comparing with traditional train ride along Circum Baikal Railroad. During this tour you will visit just some stops along this railroad but you have a unique opportunity to see Circum Baikal Railroad with other views.
After lunch free time in Listvyanka. In the evening back transfer to Irkutsk.
