Baikal hiking

The journey will start with the Irkutsk sightseeing. During a city tour you will visit the historical center, the Angara quay, the heritage buildings and local churches. Then you will walk along the famous 130 district where you can enjoy the design of wooden architecture and visit souvenir shops.
If you have some time, we recommend visiting local museums after the city tour. There are many informative exhibition items for any interest (Lore museum, Art museum, the Decembrist museum).

Breakfast and check-out. Since now let’s forget about the city style of life and go for exploring the village style. The first stop during our “escape from the city tour” is Bolshoye (means Big) Goloustnoye settlement, the cozy and shyness corner hidden from the people’s eyes.
The off-road is going through the picturesque valleys with the views of the Goloustnaya river. Upon arrival to the settlement, the first thing we should do is saying “hi” to Lake Baikal. This is the tradition that we cannot break.
Then go for seeing the major places of interest, which are quite different: the lake and the spring, wood of poplar, majestic cedars, and bright taiga flowers.
Later you may help with camp installation or have free time. Dinner upon bonfire. Overnight in tents.
You can take Russian banya experience in the evening (for extra charge).
Check-in at hotel

Today we will start hiking part of the trip (18 km on foot). First, we will go on foot to Bolshaya Kadilnaya Narrow. This day will allow finding the rhythm of movement: how to carry on the luggage, be careful on the trails and not forget enjoying the views around, and making photos meanwhile.
On the way, you can make a short visit one of the caves, or just enjoy the views of Narrow. The same-named cape is located that area, where the cordon of the Pribaikalsky National Park was located.
Installation of the camp, dinner and overnight.

Today you will go through the forest trail till Bolshiye Koty settlement, located 18 km northerner from Listvyanka.
The trail goes vies “the devil’s bridge” located on the Sobolev Cape, through the Skriper Mountain. The major part of this trail goes along the shore of Lake Baikal, sometimes with slide right to the water. Installation of the camp any place you like, cooking dinner.

Bolshiye Koty is our aim for today. Anyone who likes learning something new can visit local museum, which is considered to be one of the oldest museums in Russia. There you will find rich expositions of Baikal flora and fauna.
Accompanied by an experienced guide you can explore the amazing surroundings with its Baikal views. Adventure lovers may visit ex-gold field (upon agreement with a guide only).

Today is the finish part of the hiking trip (18 km). We will go to Listvyanka settlement and upon arrival check-in to hotel. The trail is also good quality, nice views around. Fresh air, silence and magnificent Baikal…
Overnight at hotel, dinner independent.

Today we will keep learning about Listvyanka settlement. A guide will show the main place of interest, you walk along the Baikal shore and visit souvenir shop.
Visiting Baikal museum and ropeway to the Chersky Stone is for extra charge.
After lunch transfer to Irkutsk (about 16:00). End of services (accommodation and other transfers are additional paid)
